Clamshell Relay Race Scholarship
The Board of the Peaks Island Health Center announces the creation of the Clamshell Relay Race Scholarship. Our scholarships ($1,000 each) will be awarded to two (2) Peaks Island residents who are pursuing a healthcare occupation through an accredited academic program. If you are a high school senior or an adult entering this career path we encourage you to apply. Proceeds from the Clamshell Relay race and raffle will go directly to fund this scholarship each summer. Healthcare occupations include but not limited to the following: nurse, doctor, medical assistant, x-ray technologist, phlebotomist, nutritionist, medical social worker, physical or occupational therapist or EMT.
